Bogotá

Last night we arrived in Colombia. Brrr, it's cold. I could really use some cozier clothes. Today we visited the Gold Museum, but after two weeks of museums in Mexico, I'm a little museumed out. I walked around the city instead in search of some warm boots. I didn't find any. We had a delicious lunch at a restuarant in the La Candelaria neighborhood of Bogotá. This is the original part of the city. The streets are narrow and cobbled, and the buildings have a distinct Spanish style. It rained all day, and I must say I am very happy to be back in my hotel room having hot tea with my roommate. I'm hoping for a warmer, sunnier day tomorrow in this beautiful city.
