What day is it?

Today we went to some university somewhere to hear someone tell us something about the educational system in Mexico. My stomach was rumbling too loud and my sand-flea bites itching too much to pay close attention, but the gist was that Mexico's educational system is significantly lacking. This is especially true if you are an indigenous woman of low socio-economic status living in a poor, rural area of the country.

Later, Marvi (our bus) took us to Coatepec, a place known for both its coffee and its orchids. I took an Immodium, ate some peanut butter crackers and applied a fresh coat of hydrocortisone cream along the way, so by the time we arrived, I was feeling much better. I stepped off the bus directly into a clothing shop where I bought a pair of perfectly fitting jeans for only $32.

That was the hightlight of the trip as we found neither the coffee nor the orchids.
